I am seriously in love with this colour. It's what I've been looking for my entire hair dying life since I was 14, which is a scary 22 years!!
I started with pale blonde, which I covered with a tub of Directions Bright Daffodil with half a teaspoon of Mandarin mixed in. This made me that horrible unnatural ginger you get when you bleach dark brown hair ( *say* ) and was immediately covered with Directions Cerise with a blob of Rose Red mixed in. That gave me a bright pink, which I didn't really like (this is what I had at the meet) and when I washed it it went fluorescent/highlighter PINK, which I really hated. I did a bicarb/clarifying shampoo/Fairy Liquid job on it, which stripped some pink out completely but left others still PINK ugh.
This evening I mixed a bottle of Crazy Colour Cyclamen with about a quarter to a third of a tub of Directions Plum and left it for an hour and a half (about my normal time for dyes). I've just rinsed it off and my hair is the most glorious deep deep pinky reddy purply burgundy ish colour. I call it dark magenta, which is why it's in Pinks. And I seriously LOVE IT!!!!
Incredibly hard to capture in artificial lighting though!

You can tell how excited I am about it because there's no way I'd normally put a pic of myself immediately post-dying (hot, sweaty, tired and no make up on) 😉
