This shade looks really good 🙂 I understand how you feel about the red tones, I hate having unwanted tones in my hair even if it's not that noticeable to others.

Love it! I just ordered some for myself. I was wondering though, how well is it sticking to your hair? I put Adore Sunrise Orange over a chunk slightly faded light Atomic Pink and it was bright orange for one wash. Orangeish after 2nd wash, and now mostly faded out and pink again after the 3rd wash. The same happened when I used hot pink over faded Atomic pink. I know my hair is stained pink (which I want) but Atomic Pink doesn't fade much even when I use a light sls shampoo. Maybe my hair just doesn't like Adore as much as Special Effects?

I wanted to ask the same thing, how is it sticking?

Hard to say... i wouldnt say its on par with SFX but it's close enough! I wouldnt bother if it faded quick but its going well and I prefer strong colours, so i top up with heavy diluted every 3 weeks. Still squirting a dash of AP in just now, I dunno if it makes a blind bit of difference to be fair LOL!

I dont know if a good base would make a difference because mines is months worth of atomic pink so thats stuck for good lol

Put it on fresh bleached roots as I normally do with AP. Really poor 🙁 Atomic pink would just stick like glue, now my roots are slightly ginger -pink and different to the rest of my hair 🙁 hoping a reapplication of atomic pink might fix that but I'm disappointed!

It was diluted to about a third of conditioner(normally do this with AP). So if I put it on neat I'm betting it would fade to that eventually anyway.

Before I had just put it on top of atomic pink.

Bit gutted and after having my routine perfect I've got work to do on my hair now 🙁 I may use PR as a top up the tone but I won't use it full time. Only got 1 bottle of atomic pink left too, with the SFX drought this ain't too good 🙁

So yeah. Pink rose was rubbish on my roots.

Ps. They were completely and utterly rinsed and dried

I mix everything with Atomic Pink because I just don't trust the other brands anymore. I've put a tad bit of manic panic blue in with AP to make it less orange but it seems to make it more dull as well. I've been thinking using a tiny bit of a special effects blue would be better but I don't feel like spending the money:p

I MUCH prefer your hair to mine =( Mine did not stick all that well & had wee patchy bits i had to top up, youre's is gorgeous tho!!!

Ahhh I just saw yours!I find having the atomic pink base really helps, i use the pink rose inbetween for freshening it up . I actually prefer yours lol

As for the previous problems i was having with my roots at xmas, im all back to normality again!

Try putting in violet with it instead or a purple. When I tried to cool off my AP with blue it just looked dull, more on the cool side but just dull and gross. I used Pravana Violet and threw in some Hot Hot Pink too so it was more of a purple, and that cooled it right off and was still very vibrant!

Just an update, I used it more concentrated on top of a few week old atomic pink. Its deeper but still neon. Love the purple sheen. Hopefully I'll have no issues with it.
