and this is the result. Its directions carnation pink.
its more than a litle patchy but the lighter areas are a lovely pale pink so im hoping after a few washes it'll even out. The darker areas are practically flourescent which I wasn't quite expecting!
That looks nice on you π I actually like the darker patches, gives the color some depth visualization π
Love it! It suits you amazingly well as well! Another success story with Directions Carnation Pink (makes me regret I didn't know this forum before I bought MP Cotton Candy).
Ooooh love that colour π
It's very darling π
looks gorgeous! im so jealous of your length!
LoveLy!! How light was ur hair?
Thanks everyone π
Touched it up a bit this morning with some of the dye I had leftover so it is a bit more even now. Oh and I'm really not as miserable as I look on that photo! I look totally hacked off.
Essie - I was a light ash blond to start.
Really like it!! I thought you'd have to been even lighter for something like that π
Exactly what I thought - I decided just to give it a try and if it didn't work out I could lighten my hair and try again. I think the fade might be more peachy than if I started with a lighter base but I don't mind that.
aww did you dilute it at all? i was hoping mine would've turned out all baby pink like yours has, but mine was more like SFX Atomic pink! :I
it looks lovely :3
No, I didn't dilute it. I think I will next time though because it came out waaaay brighter than I expected.
I'm sure it'll fade to baby pink.
just a couple of updated photos after a week. colour is still holding strong even after a trip to the hairdresser
its SO pretty! im insanely jealous
