At first I hated this because it was so bright (but I was sick of the pastel fading orange after one wash) but I'm trying to make it work. It's pure Adore Pink Fire on most of it, with a little bit of Adore Pink Rose toward the bottom just to blend and the ends are pure Rich Fuchsia since they were always darker, to kind of make a reverse ombre effect.
First pic is before first wash, then a few washes after, and a nice pro pic by the talented Jill Hart to capture top to bottom (and it worked for that set). I don't LOVE it, but its ok. Once it fades I want to try a new color, since I'm not really into 'pink' but that's what I got lol.
omg, i think it looks really pretty!! i wonder if you'd like it better if you start washing it with purple shampoo to cool off the pink?
also, i'm sorta drooling over your tutu
Lol Thanks! It's actually not mine, it's Sisters of The Moon Designs! I loved it too!!
Wow, I think it's gorgeous! I agree, a purple shampoo will take some of the warmth out, so you might like it a bit more?
I'm sorry you're not happy with this colour but I think it looks lovely π
I'm sorry you don't like it, I loved it when I used it a while ago! But, I like my pinks warm - I usually mix in some extra red or orange. Do you think the warmth was the problem?
I don't know if I'd say "warmth" was the problem. In that first picture it was just too red and bright. (I originally wanted a nice coral pastel, but it faded too quick and also too orange so I held off on mixing orange in this round lol) The second and third I liked a lot more. So right now I'm ok with it, and will try a new color next round (like totally different instead of sticking with coral or pinks). Thanks though guys!! π
Fade: much better. Yea I don't style my hair. π Also blonde/yellow roots, a punch of brightness.
Second picture is with flash, and comes out a bit darker and sort of more true to life color wise, only the flash makes the light so harsh so it's somewhere between the two images.
