What colour should I use?

Hi, so I've posted before asking about toning my recently bleached hair with a darker and warmer coloured body.

I have now used some purple shampoo on my dry hair and left it on for about 40 minutes (missing out the roots because they were ashy enough) my hair is now slightly less yellow with the underneath now very ashy but this doesn't change the fact that the top layer of my mid section is still a shade or so darker than my roots and underneath, I've decided I do not want to re-bleach my hair and instead would like to darken it all to the same as my mid section. I do not want to re-bleach my hair as it is still recovering from the slightly bubble-gum feeling and because I'm not particularly interested in having super light hair, i just wanted a natural looking light-ish blonde. I was thinking of dying it a slightly darker blonde (obviously) with some gold tones to add some warmth to the roots and underneath and match the mid section.

So here come my questions:
1) will the fact that I've used purple shampoo affect a dye?
2) if I use a dye dark enough to cover my mid sections, will it also cover my lighter parts evenly?
3) can you recommend any colours and brands that match my description, i preferably want something permanent, and i am not too fussed about using box-dyes (I have heard a lot about tube dyes but am not sure how they work or how you use them)

Thank you for any help you can give me
This is what my hair looked like just before using the purple shampoo (my hair doesn't look much different now, just slightly less yellow and more ashy.

Could I potentially get my hair to something like this without bleaching or is this still too light?

I would avoid permanent dyes on already damaged hair. It will damage it more and fade very quickly.
I would add some gold tones to the top part to try and get an even base, then put something ashy over it all.
My dyes of choice for this would be Adore. You can dilute them with a lot of conditioner to make a toner.
I have been using Mocha as my warm dye and Medium brown as my ash tone to make natural blondes and browns. I use about 2 parts Mocha to 1 part Medium Brown and  a lot of conditioner to get a medium ash blonde similar to the pic.
