Adore colors in ginger, paprika and orange blaze. Mostly paprika in this over a very faded orange base. Went for the color of the dried out oak leaves that are currently covering everything at my apartment complex. Unfortunately this is not natural looking enough for the job I was trying to get (I wonder if they discriminate against natural gingers). ::) Oh well, back to sending out applications. I am not plunking a dark brown over this just to work there as it's a job that really doesn't interest me and I only applied because they give veterans preference.
That looks lovely.
It's a shame that we still live in a world where it is more acceptable for women to be platinum blonde but not that color. It looks way more natural to me.
This is really nice, I hope your job hunt goes well.
Platinum is definitely acceptable there... but this isn't. They said no red dye of any kind if I'm going to hold a customer facing position. I have many family members with NATURAL red that is more flaming than this.
That's ridiculous.
What's ridiculous is I could've had this color while serving in the Air Force.
It looks lovely!
I'm disgusted that isn't natural enough for them. I have family with pretty much that colour hair, even down to the yellow gold tips which it fades to in the sun. Are you in a very conservative area or something?
It's pretty conservative but also has a large student population so unnatural hair colors are fairly common. I'm annoyed that I went through the trouble of getting it natural only to be told it's still unacceptable because it's red. Well, at least I like the color.
It looks lovely 🙂
It boggles my mind that anyone would weigh a hair color (and a pretty, natural color at that) more heavily than your service in the Air Force, something that reflects so positively on your character and discipline. Unbelievable. -r-
Uh, the people... First world Problems, really. There will be a time, when they all will be thankful for all the Open minded, modified and colorful people out there.
Shame, that's a lovely colour on you! I recently got asked to dye my hair for a job in a shop that was only 4 hours a week and temporary for 4 weeks that I'd been forced to take as I was claiming benefits at the time - I said there was no way I was making that type of commitment to a job that couldn't make that type of commitment to me. Luckily I got my current job pretty much immediately after and they are beyond cool about my alternative appearance!
