My hair story.. Final result: Black Short Hair :)

Hello folks, been a while.. After all the drama I had from trying to get a perfect blonde colour after my original pink and then resulting to blue and then blue and black. I have finally decided to call crazy hair a day. It's been fun but I got sick of having shitty hair. No matter how much I tried to maintain it all those years of bleaching really took it's toll and after washing and drying my then blue hair one day the whole of my ends were frazzled like it was ridiculous. And this wasn't even after a recent bleach but obviously it was waiting to happen. I couldn't wear my hair down until I got it cut. I used to wear it in a messy bun to disguise cos for some reason it was so so so bad (I don't think hair straighteners helped the situation) so yeah I went to the hair dressers were she layered the shit out of it and got rid of allllll my dead ends and it felt amazing. My hair wasn't much shorter but so much thinner, I then decided to dye it black. No more bleach. And guys I couldn't be happier haha. I love my crazy colours but i've had my fun and now I just envy people with beautiful long healthy hair. That's my aim πŸ™‚ I've recently decided to grow out my shaved side too, definitely going down the normal route. Hope you like my normal hair :):):)

Thank you πŸ™‚ it's strange having people class me and my hair as cute & adorable rather than 'cool' & 'punky' haha.

Oh wow who knew, to be honest I died it black once from blue and haven't touched it again since. My roots are coming through but it's all blending in nicely πŸ™‚ Thanks Pippa

I think what Pippa meant is that black dye still uses developer (peroxide) which does still damage the hair, so be careful with any subsequent applications to overly processed hair.  πŸ™‚

Yeah I know that's what she meant. That's why I was saying i've only put the black in once and ain't planning to do any more dying any time soon :

They do also have vegetable dyes in blacks so you could get the roots, and touch up the rest of the hair with those! It may not stick as well to the virgin hair, but it should do something.
