Due to poverty, the fact that the ends of my hair won't hold dye for what seems like five minutes and the fact that I have about a dozen various direct dyes all with about a quarter of a bottle left I've been doing what I like to call my 'magical mystery mix' top ups lately. This one was done today and had, in order of quantity: Adore Paprika, Adore Cajun Spice, Adore Mahogany, SFX Nuclear Red and Directions Violet all over a very faded mid brown box dye (mostly faded to an ashy brown).
It's got a really nice vibrant red sheen to it that the camera isn't quite catching that I think is down to the blob of Nuclear I added. (Not entirely sure why my hair looks short on the 2nd photo, I can't work out where the ends must be tucked haha!)
Very nice !! and resourceful !
 a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!
Very pretty!
I always seem to end up doing greens when I do mixes of left overs lol I always have pots of green, turquoise, blue and yellow lying around!
It's my favourite mahogany I've mixed yet, it's just a shame I won't know how to replicate it!
Ooooh I've never been light enough for blues and greens, I still love my stripe of Alpine Green though, it's my one concession to mermaid hair!
