I'm really sorry I didn't get any pictures of it freshly dyed I was so busy working and shizz!
It was a 1:1 mix of Adore's Copper Brown and Paprika. It came out such a gorgeous colour, like a rich auburn. I decided to let it fade out, mainly because I'm lazy and partly because I wanted to see if I could successfully get to blonde this time.
Anyway ...
Number 1: faded after 3 weeks, a BB & washing quite a lot. Rather patchy :/
Number 2: After a vit C treatment and more washing. My pinky fringe is hanging in there haha
I don't know if it's because I have been using sulphate free but Aussie moist shampoo really sucks out colour.
The ends aren't as lifted as the roots but plan of action is to BB just the ends, gently, until I even out my base then Who knows that next?!?!
I would just like to say, I really loved the fade of this colour and there are such pretty shades it goes through!
Looks nice, hope you can reach your goal okay π
I love the colour,
That looks a pretty strawberry blonde! What was the copper brown like? Does it have a strong brown base or is it quite ginger? Its on my maybe list just depending on the shade of it.
Really pretty fade, and I do like the shade of blonde you've got currently, too. It suits your skin tone so well! π
I've not used the copper brown on it's own I mixed it with paprika, they're very similar shades. It came out a lovely rich auburn shade which changed with every wash, in a nice way! I was sooo busy I didn't get any photos π But I loved it. Here's a swatch of the copper brown.
Thanks Guys! I'm liking being blonde for the first time in YEARS and it's healthy this time wowzers! π
edit: Oh and it's quite ginger base but the brown tones stayed in nicely and kept it a nicer fade instead of being ORANGE. Paprika has slightly more redder tones to it.
Looks very pretty indeed.
Pretty fade π
That's really lovely π
Thanks for that swatch π
suit you well π
That's such a cute colour!
