Thread bump!
Buying my dye tomorrow, do you reckon I'd get a nice colour mixing cinammon and paprika together?

yes Martha, do it!! They're really nice colours, maybe do the 'ol strand test first before mixing and putting it all over your hair lol.

Where you getting your dye from? Next time I'm near Afflecks I'm going to check out that place Lauralei suggested.

I might just do the cinammon first, not sure yet, didn't buy my dye today as it's raining... again and I couldn't be bothered going to Manchester just for dye in the rain.

And I'm going to get it from Julia Knows on Oldham Street, I've been in there before but never knew they sold it until I nipped in the other day, they also do loads of afro hair stuff there dead cheap and they sell tigi, I'd buy some but they're all full of cones and sulphates 🙁

Sack it, I want my bright hair back, I'm mixing crimson and cinnamon, unless anyone else has any good ideas for a nice reddish orangy colour 🙂

I'm the same, can't be bothered going in Manchester just to buy hair dye, always wait til I have a few things I need to get. Will check out the place you mentioned, might find some nice hair treats, but I'm also on a mission to try and remove cones/sulphates from my hair routine.

Can't wait to see the new colour once you've decided on what to go for :p

I've been using the Adore Blue Black mixed with SFX Blue Velvet to make it go further, it's quite runny but the mix still seems to last nearly as long as pure Blue Velvet and certainly longer than when I tried Directions mixed with SFX. I also get it from Julia Knows in Sheffield.

I don't even know what colour I'm going yet I just know it'll be red/ginger, and I'm not even gunna bother deciding on something cuz as soon as I go in the shop I'll change my mind!

Bought my dye! Got 2 bottles of cinammon, will go more red next time I dye 🙂

Got this sat on my head now, it's the runniest dye ever, there is no way I can sleep in it.
Going to have to rinse it off after about 3 hours, it's dripping down my face D:
Although it doesn't stain the skin which is good 🙂

I finally got myself down to Manchester and bought a bottle. Got it from Julia's opposite the arcade entrance to Afflecks. I bought the Adore plus though, as they had a shade called brown/black and I wanted a very dark brown dye.

Found a decent review on youtube from someone who used the Wile Cherry:

Hey all! This is me! I was just googling if any one had had success in removing it! The reds in this brand are my new favorite red dyes as there is a good range of reds and they fade nicely! A red fade rather than pink or orange. The last one I used was a darker colour- Intense red (its not true to swatch rather a deep blood red) and it bleeds ALOT red bath all the time.
However I attempted to bleach my fringe out today, and nothing! It sticks hard!

I'll answer any questions with pleasure.

I love Adore in Pink Rose, and my friend uses the Orange Blaze and loves it. It's very gel like, so you need tons of it, but it soaks right in and sticks well!

OK, I should be able to add this range very soon - just wanted to get the SFX back orders all sorted first.  Are there any specific shades you like as it's a massive range and I don't want to stock all colours until I gauge how popular it is.  I will mainly get some of the neon shades in first, just waiting on confirmation about no animal testing / vegan friendly etc and then it should be good to go 😀

That's awesome Nickki! I reckon if possible you should eventually stock a darker red colour for those who might be looking for a work safe colour.
