That'd be great if you could, thanks!
Has anyone used the extra conditioning version of Adore? I've been looking at some online and I'm very tempted, but scared to try something not knowing anything about it!
I have, in the same shade I was using in the ordinary one (Mocha) I'm using it over unbleached roots and henna, and I was hoping it might last longer (because it's supposed to cover gray better) but I didn't notice any difference at all, in longevity, conditioning or anything.
It was cheaper than the ordinary one though!Exact same, except I was using Light Brown I think. Worked better as a toner for me.
http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php?topic=6132.0ETA Zaralily I think you could go for those adore mixes except you wouldn't need the honey brown. As you would have to dilute it down which would take it to it's yellowly kinda base anyway. Napalm may be too strong over your light base and come out really neon.
Aww thank you π I wasn't sure if Napalm would overpower. I can't wait for pay day π
Does anyone know the difference between Cajun Spice and French Cognac? I have bought both but I'm still not sure which to use!
That's really nice! What was your base?
Oh gosh, that's BEAUTIFUL emjv1! I'd love to know what your base was as well, please, because I'm aiming for that colour for autumn. π
I had Crazy Colour Coral Red in but bleach bathed it for 20 mins to lift it a few shades, it was basically faded orange before the Cajun if that helps, I'd say a full bleaching would result in a much brighter colour π
Oh my god thats beautiful!! See now i dont know whether to use cajun spice or sunrise orange!!
Haha the picture was supposed to help π The Cajun is really nice though ;D
I just wanted to quickly say I'm a convert to adore for temporary normal colour. I used a mix of sienna and mocha over neon yellow hair and it covered lovely a rich chestnut shade. It faded gradually to a nice ginger over three weeks and after one colour b4 and a soap cap I'm back to yellow. Not sure if that's the directions residue or from the adore though! It didn't cover my natural hair at the roots or greys whatsoever though. There's some photos on my instagram (felicitybendix) or I can add them her later if anyone is really curious. π
I thought I'd post my adore results here, as I havent seen any one else post about using the Spiced Amber color!
So, this was my result from using Spiced Amber, over bleached hair.
I think it looks a bit more gingery/orange in person than the pictures let on, though.
Also, this was my first time using Adore and I'm super happy with the result! I'll definitely be trying some of their other colors in the future.
looks super cute on you.
Super adorable! π
Still haven't dyed my hair, haha! I think it's because there's not many people sharing pictures using Adore dyes. Sad Still have French Cognac, Cajun Spice, Ginger and Paprika in my shopping bag since last time, lol
@Frou Going by my result from Honey brown, those don't seem too far off. We definitely need some real photos though. It's nerve wrecking dying your hair and not knowing what to expect!
I'm bored of my platinum hair and want to give it a bit of a break from the bleach. I figured I could do an ombre, thus keeping the blonde but allowing myself more leeway with regrowth. I've attached a pic of the sort of thing I'm aiming for. I looked at Adore colours and was thinking of Honey Brown or Sienna. I'd like it more ashy if possible but looking at the shade charts they look on the warm side.
In the past if I've gone from blonde to brown, I've pre-pigged (filled) with a light copper/warm colour before applying the end colour, however as this isn't such a huge change I was thinking I wouldn't need to this time.
Any advice on the shades or process would be greatly appreciated.
