I covered faded reddy/purple mix with adore mocha and it started to show through after a while, mocha is lighter than darkest brown though so I think you'll have more luck with it. You should add a bit of white conditioner to your dye to thicken it up a bit so that could lessen the darkest of the colour a bit.

Has anyone used Adore Plus? I'm struggling to find any normal Adore stuff in Canada. Don't really want to be using websites I'm not familiar with or haven't heard any reviews of from people who've used them.

Thanks KittyLost
I have gone for the darkest brown can't wait to see how it turns out

I'll enjoy the hair washes in warm/hot water while fading the red then it's back to cold/cool washes once the brown is done to avoid fading too quickly - I'm assuming that washing in cool water is best to prevent fading too quick for all semi dye colours and not just red.

Yes it is! Thanks, it's good to know they aren't totally rubbish and I was looking for natural shades anyway πŸ™‚

I want a dark brown that's more warm based, I was looking at dark chocolate and darkest brown, are either of these warm based does anyone know?

Raspberry, I've also used the Adore Plus, I'm happy with it other than that the shade I've been using is green based and I need to switch to a warm brown to counteract my natural ashy brown hair.

Dark Chocolate as I was rinsing it out last night ran the water pink lol which I thought was a little strange but it is definately warm based. I don't know about darkest brown, but I've also just ordered medium brown to check out too.

That would be awesome if you can manage it πŸ™‚

Ideally I wanted something quite dark, but don't want to use black.

I can't quite capture it properly. The weather is crazy here at the minute, snowing then sunny then dark then back round again. The colour is closer in real life from just underneath my shoulders and down especially last couple inches of my hair.

Adore Dark Chocolate mixed in with some white silicone free conditioner to thicken up the dye.

Strand test of an adore honey brown ombre over very pale yellow hair. This would be a great choice for dyeing over bleach since it's so warm.

It is really pretty - look forward to seeing how it comes out for you! It's too warm for me, I think. My roots are really ashy πŸ™

I thought I'd ask this here as this is where all the Adore-experts are!

I'm looking for a more natural orange. It's alright if it's a deep, bright colour, but nothing neon.
Something between this:

and this:

Adore do a beautiful range of natural oranges/gingers, but I can't really tell from the swatches what colour I'd need. My base is a strawberry blonde. Any suggestions?  πŸ˜€
