Adore dark chocolate with a slice of green

Back to natural colours for me! I needed to grow out the previous damage from when I had a bleach accident back in the winter, and didn't want to touch up my roots anymore for fear of overlapping by accident, and causing more damage. I'd not bleached in about 2 months or more, so my roots were huge and starting to bug me. So, decided for the next year or so, natural colours it is! Keeping one small section to use brights on though.

I faded my Lagoon Blue and Alpine green right down to pastel blue and minty green using head & shoulders. Then I used Adore dark chocolate on the majority of my hair, and sectioned off a slice of hair on my right side which I applied Directions Alpine green. It's come out really well I think, I've washed it once since I originally dyed and it's stayed well too. The ends of my hair have gone a bit bluey/black looking in the sunshine because that's where my hair was bluest before. But I can live with that until I get my hair trimmed a bit! My hair that was a lighter base has gone a nice reddy dark brown πŸ™‚

I'll try to get some photos of the green side at some point! And hopefully next week I'll have some new extensions. Although actually my hair has grown quite a lot

Oh, and please excuse my messy hair, I'd had it in plaits beforehand so it looks a bit frizzy/crinkly here!

I love your mermaid hair, but have to admit this suits you too

I will miss my mermaid hair, but once all my damaged hair is grown out and cut out in time, I'll be able to do brights again πŸ™‚

Thank you πŸ˜€ Oh and the best bit, is that I only needed half the adore bottle to cover my quite thick hair, so I've got a whole bottle and a half left for top ups!

Looks great! It does make me a little sad with all the people going natural... But at least you do it well!

Thanks everyone πŸ™‚

Awh I know! My green section is quite chunky when my hair is down though so I've still got a nice bit of colour there, I couldn't bring myself to get rid of it all πŸ˜€ I'm probably going to mix it up with random bright extensions too, as I have so many from my previous colours. I'm looking forward to having healthy virgin hair again, and then when I do go back to brights, i'll keep it healthy and be super careful!

It's a lovely colour on you!  I do agree with Janine though!  Seeing so many people (including myself!) going back to naturals does make me a little bit sad inside!  I also intend to play with coloured bits in extensions when my hair starts to get longer, I don't think I can stand being entirely natural forever!
