I really liked this colour. It started out a lot darker than Mocha, when my hair's wet/damp it looks like a warm black and so far after a couple of applications I haven't had the darker colour stain my hair. It's got a warm base, pinky/purpley when spread across paper maybe like a burgandy? Starts off a lovely dark brown and just faded out to the lighter brown which was my base colour.
1st picture is diluted down with white conditioner, colour from shoulders down is a truer representation of colour.
2nd picture is undiluted and faded after about a month, sticks better to old dyed ends compared to mostly virgin roots, I also have a lazy habit of dying my ends by dipping them in a tubberware box full of dye.
3rd picture is fresh undiluted application from today.
Once again, ignore my crazy curly hair and I should also wear different pjs.
That looks so rich and lovely! I'm insanely jealous of your curls. π
so pretty kitty ♥ your hair has grown sp much!
Lovely shade π
That's a gorgeous shade and your curls are amazing!
Thanks guys! I thought my curls would mellow out the longer my hair got but so far that doesn't seem to be the case haha.
Ooh this is lush! I have been using mocha for ages and fancy a change! Does it last longer? I always get a bit down when I see my previously bleached colour start to fade through! By the way, your hair is incredible! It's what I'm aiming for! Xxx
Thank you π
Yeah I find it lasts longer but only because its initially darker than mocha so it has longer to fade through to lighter brown if that makes sense? Also if you have it added to your conditioner for additional topups it looks nicer than mocha does! When I used to have a mocha/conditioner mix it looked like I was putting blended seaweed on my hair due to the strong green base lol
Ooh okay that sounds good! I shall have to try dark chocolate when I next buy some dye! It just looks so lovely! Xxx
oooh i might like to try this dye ! i'm trying to transition to natural.. is this reddish toned when dry ?
