subtle two-red cruella

i'm back, guys!!  so, my hair was like this:

but, it'd been basically the same since october.  which is why i haven't been here much.  but, that's seriously WAY too long without a significant change.  so, i decided i wanted something different.  VERY different.

i slathered the pink side in sfx napalm, and the grayish blue/green/purple side in a dark brick red i mixed from various odds and ends i had lying around...

and now i have THIS:

it looks almost all one shade in that picture, but it's a super bright red where it was pink, and a deeeeeep wine color over the gray.  you can more easily see the two-tonedness of it all in this one:

....i thought it was funny that, as i was applying a color called napalm orange to my hair, i had the completely un-ironic thought, "man, this is going to be pretty subtle for me!"

Very pretty! With the hair stick in your last pic, did you hold it all in place with the one stick? A friend of mine uses hair sticks too and it always amazes me that a whole bun can be supported with one stick. πŸ™‚

thank you.  and yes!  all of it is up with just the one stick.  my hair's pretty thick and it's about hip length now, too.  i was shocked how easy it was to learn to use hair sticks once you have the length for it-- there are a lot of tutorials on youtube.  πŸ˜‰
