😀 This is mostly Pravana Violet mixed with Red, to get various fuschia shades. I also used a lot of Adore Violet Gem and the dark purple is Raw Deep Purple (which I could have used less of, but I will keep playing with this idea as it fades) Anyway thanks everyone for the help, this kicks the poo out of my mostly brown/unbleached/dyed hair.    *yay*

GRR I didn't even see that you replied! Anyway he emailed me back, told me to check out his mate Gene Coffey. I DID already! I don't really want one from him. *grumps* No one ever writes back unless they say no. wth. $ is $ isn't it!?

yeah, except noon is only in the us a few weeks a year, typically.  i booked him like, six months in advance of my appointment. my friend michael got a piece done the same day, and ended up waiting a full year to get more work done on it!

one thing that's cool about tattoo artists that are artists first, and tattoo dudes second--- they do their own thing. like, i gave him a concept, but i had no idea what the piece was going to look like until he literally drew it onto my back in sharpie.

...steffan said you wanted to see a picture, this is from right when it was done.  so, pre-baby, lol.

(november 2009, actually.)

I love it! That's the thing, I don't mind waiting and I am willing to give so much liberty to the actual idea. I *want* an artist. I don't want a "tattoo". It will be a cover, and I do want a certain style so in the end he may not be best for what I want, but still, he didn't really know that lol. I don't want it to look like a tattoo. I want something that's really cool, actual art. I know you know what I mean! 🙂
