Finally got the hair I've been dying to have! I started a job where unnatural colors weren't allowed and was feeling really down about not being able to show that self expression. But. I was able to talk to my boss and we came to an agreement, so of course I went straight for the hair I've been pining over!
This is with some fliters, the light in my house is so dark at night that I couldn't show the true colors.
And here it is in the natural light! I'm beyond pleased with my hair and can't wait to show it off. I feel like me again!
I used pravanas violet, with a splash of punky colors lagoon blue and diluted it with conditioner for the purple. For the turquoise I used manic panics atomic turquoise, with a splash of lagoon blue, and also diluted. I plan on touching up the turquoise a bit when I receive a shipment of some Directions turquoise that I ordered for it originally.

You make me re-consider buying atomic turquoise instead of directions turquoise... But videos like that one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9DdxMTOdB4 make me certain directions' one is just as good... and it's cheaper!

I remember when I had to dye my hair brown for a new job and I hated it but they were cool with me dyeing so I went back to red.
I know what you mean about the self expression thing.

My first choice is actually directions! But I live in the states and so I'm still waiting for a shipment I ordered to come within a couple weeks, so I'll probably be touching it up with that, since I for sure prefer it. 🙂 But I was still impressed with manic panic!

Yeah it was a huge bummer, so I'm stoked that it ended up working out. As soon as I said it was bothering me my boss was all for it and helped me think of a game plan to hide it when I'm on the floor, it was really sweet. 🙂

I hope my teamleaders and HR won't be bothered... What do you guys think? I don't work in retail, no customer service, plus I've seen one girl with top layer of her hair dyed pink, and another one with like all colours of the rainbow so hopefully no sh** will go down

So long as there isn't anything in your contract or staff handbook about unnatural coloured hair you should be sweet. My work made me laugh because it's a small construction company with mostly middle aged men so when my first attempt at semi permanent colours went wrong and I had bright blue hair they just laughed and said they needed to re-think the staff handbook but it wasn't something they'd considered putting in before and could I please wash it out as quickly as possible. I wasn't fussed, I didn't want to keep it but you should be fine if it's not in writing! It looks fantastic as well!

I think you should speak to your boss before doing anything, to be honest. I was hired with orange hair, and there's nothing in the handbook about naturally coloured hair, but I was told that "pink and blue is fine ... as long as you don't plan on ever having any other job in this company". I just assumed that because I was hired with orange hair, it wouldn't be an issue, but certain people felt it reflected badly on them (not sure how?).
So, we compromised.

Please please please will someone tell me how I can get those dyes in Mexico, and whether they are likely to work on my thick, spongy, wavy medium-dark brown hair? I want this hair SO BAD, like maybe the turquoise on top and the purple below in an ombre pattern 😀
