So I decided that I wanted a change from pastels, and went for a blue and green combo ( blue on top with a green underlayer ). I haven't had such a vibrant hair color in a long time and I really love it! The green was really hard to capture, it looks really light here but in person it is more of a deep emerald green sort of shade.
My low quality webcam actually captures it a bit more than my camera so I added a couple pics taken with that.
Blue is diluted SFX Blue Velvet, a dash of Directions Atlantic Blue and a dash of Directions Alpine Green ( pretty much just eyeballed it ;).
Green is Alpine Green Direction mixed with Crazy Color Emerald Green ( the mucky brown color of Emerald Green actually killed the blue tones in Alpine Green to create a "truer" green shade, so I have found a way to mix Emerald Green, yay! ), diluted with a healthy dose of conditioner as well.
Keep in mind that my hair was a light turquoise before I put the dye in though! 🙂

The fade is really lovely, the blue has stayed put, it's only become a lighter blue that I'm really loving right now. Unfortunately the green faded really fast, it's now a really deep turquoise, but it still looks pretty so I guess that's all right. 😉
