It wasn't actually intentional, I'd forgotten that I'd wanted to do this mix at some point! But I saw the yellow, saw the pink and thought, shadow root with pink! π
Squee! So amazing. Also your hair style is really really similar to how I've been doing my hair π
I used to call my Nuclear Red 'Fruit Salad' when it faded coz my roots would stay red then it would go pink/ peach/ yellow towards the ends - that was bad fruit salad - yours is most definitely good fruit salad!!
So pretty!!! I remember you wrote about your unfortunate hair cut experience but I have to say that this current length and style is truly lovely on you. π
I love this! Looks so pretty π
I tried to dye my own hair similar to this a couple years ago, and lets just say it didn't work out too well.
Did you do this in two separate turns. Like Pink roots first and then rinse it and then put in the yellow?
My colors always bleed together when rinsing.
Nope, I do it in one π The trick is to dilute the dyes with conditioner so they're less pigmented.
I did an "ombre". It was supposed to be deep red to yellow... ended up BRIGHT Red to reddish orange. Guy still charged me $270... and that's where the red stripe in my head came from. UGH! It looked great but was NOT what we talked about.
Sometimes you go to a professional and still get crap. I guess he didn't know how to make them not bleed. =(
Hello! I also want to tell you my natural hair story! I have a curly hair and I always wanted to straighten it as it seemed for me to be prettier to have it straighten. I went to the hairdresser's and changed the structure of my hair using different hair driers and special mousses for hair. Once I found out that it was really damaged and felt so upset as it was my fault. Then my boyfriend told me that he really likes my curly hair more and I understood that we need to love ourselves as we are! After this, I tried to look for natural hairstyles for curly hair and to change not their nature but their shape a bit. Here I was happy to find really many nice hairstyles which you can use too. Look how many great photos are here!
