Fluorescent Glow & Mandarin on Top of Faded Blue & Pink = Neon Green & Orange!

I had a faded minty turquoise and pink base which I liked, but it was a bit patchy and I thought I'd cover it up.

I sectioned my hair into layers, kept the top parts turquoise, applied flo glo to the faded turquoise layer underneath, which promptly turned a shade similar to electric lizard. Under THAT layer was a faded blonde going into the pink, so those turned more yellow. Under those layers was my pink layer, so I applied flo glo mixed with mandarin to the top half (which turned yellow orange), and mandarin mixed with pink to the bottom half (which turned orangey pink). I kept the very bottom bits pink and reapplied a bit of cerise to make them a bit darker.

The result is a turquoise-green to pink gradient that is more apparent than these cruddy ipad pics I took, but I hope they show the transition well enough. πŸ™‚ It's a combo I haven't gone before and was honestly a bit hesitant to try, but now I'm glad I did.  ;D
