Fairy Mermaid Hair! XD (pink - purple - blue)

My base was kinda faded Bubblegum Blue.

To get this, I only actually just recently coloured those (PESKY as HECK!) parts juuuust under my roots: The bits which always kindly insist on fading a bazillion times faster than any other part of my hair. >.< I was just looking for a way to make my roots not stand out quite as much as they were before this.

But yeah, those under-the-root fading bits, I put a diluted hot pink dye over them, and then smoothed that down onto the more vivid blue just below, which always seem to take the most color for me.

The good thing about it was that it gave this cool gradient of pink - purple - blue - blue thing, on account of those bits below the roots appearing being almost dye-free (blonde).

It was MEGA difficult trying to set lighting up in such a way that would properly capture all the colours properly! It actually looks iridescent when it moves.. *_* As in - in some lights, the pinks and purples actually give out tints of blue! I think this actually might be my favorite so far in my dying journey.

Downside of getting a balance of colours you really like: Fear of water. Lol!
