Yes, this combo.. again! But I love it so much. ;D And I did it a bit differently this time.
I hadn't bleached for over half a year, I don't remember exactly when, but it was a while. And so my roots were getting huge. Directions Turq prolonged the urge to bleach for a while since it took a good two months before it washed out from my virgin roots. ๐ฎ So yesterday I coconut oiled it, bleached it and dyed it. My previously virgin roots are now the pink and I tried to make a bit of a gradient flowing into the blue.
Back to candy cane/candy floss hair!
I must say the CC Blue Jade is such a lovely shade, previously it faded patchy for me, and I had to maintain the blue colour with purple shampoo. But now the base was pastel blue, so maybe less yellow trying to get through? We'll see..
I really like it, did you dye it pink before the blue??
Thank you! And no, I only dyed the top part pink, if you mix this strong a pink with a less strong blue like CC Blue Jade, you get purple. Like the band between the pink and purple. The base beneath the pink was light yellow and the base beneath the blue was pastel blue (from previous direct dyes).
I love it! The colours really suit you.
beautiful combo! But also, your mirror is amazing!
Fade update after a month and I don't co wash or anything. I do use bonacure purple shampoo with blue jade because it tends to fade green if the base had any yellow.
Blue jade is fading patchy as usual. I love this colour, but I wish it would fade evenly. I'm going to redo this look with another application of carnation pink, but will use CC sky blue this time. I know that one lasts a LOT longer and fades prettier as well.
Ooh it's such nice fade colours, shame it went patchy
