So after exams, I decided to hit the bottle! (of bleach. not vodka!)
But I had to be a control freak and apply the bleach to my own hair... mistake!
If you want to see an estimation of my results after 55 minutes wearing a tinfoil hat, please Google 'tortoiseshell cat.' Not funny! ::)
I was a bit wary of touch ups/ double processing, so I decided to carry on and apply Directions Midnight Blue, mixed with the conditioner shot that was in my bleach kit.
Slept with the dye in- this was about 8 hours. I washed it out, not knowing what to expect. I was worried it would look icky, but I really like it! The ends are mainly teal (which you can't really see in the pic) but they look really nice and not too damaged 😀 When my hair's left natural I look like a river :laugh: Can you tell I like it?
Also, Directions dye must be crazy powerful- I went in the swimming pool (naughty) the other day and it made no difference to my hair colour! Wow 😮

you can't really tell, but I did purple eyebrows to match my shirt :laugh:
Somebody said the other day that I reminded them of the painting 'Ophelia' by John Everett Millais- don't really see it, but made me really happy as I've always liked that painting ^.^
On the other hand, when I went to the pool, I had half the town informing me that my 'blonde hair had turned green!' *facepalm*
It's not that damaged right now (the last centimetre on my underlayer), and it's been just under a week- do you think I'll see more damage over the following weeks, due to damage not always being apparent straight away? Anyway I'm trying to grow my hair, so I'll apply some reconstructor and see how we go...

damage can take up to 2 montha to appear. reconstruct, condition & gaet a trim. you should be golden 😉
