Heya my lovelies, :-*
I'm 'trying' to grow my hair but frankly, it's not going well at all - in fact, it's driving me nuts and I now have the urge to chop it all off again! But, as usual I'm not sure what I want!! I've got quite fine hair but a lot of it so as it's growing it is sticking out in random palces around the back and sides and getting right on my nerves and looks totally pants so I end up just sticking a clip in most days (I've also discovered I really don't suit hairbands!). I also wear glasses so have problems with either the sides not lying right or fringes getting in the way.
Hair mags etc are rubbish as they are mostly geared around longer styles so I'm looking for some inspiration for shorter funky styles please. I've already had a few variations of pixie cut so was thinking of going for an asymetric crop or undercut but I did that last summer so maybe something different?
I'm probably keeping it green for now but thinking of adding a cruella-esque twist and having the short side and a bit of the top black but keeping the bright green on the longer side?
Also, I need to decide by Tuesday as booked in for a cut on Wednesday and going out for a friends birthday that night so it needs to look as awesome as possible! 🙂

A... I love that pink coloured one you shared up there.
I'm in a similar place with my own hair. I also have fine hair. I've been collecting short hair "style" pics since I am also going in on Wednesday for the chop. ;D I don't know if I can pull it off... but I would like something long enough on the top that I could do a faux hawk if I wanted. So I'll share the pics I've collected in hopes they will inspire you, too.
P.S. I am a big P!nk fan and lover her hair, so I have a couple of her. 😉

I don't have any pictures, but I love going through the short hair tag on tumblr, theres so much more there than you can find jus searching google. You don't even need a tumblr account, just search "short hair tumblr" and follow the first link 😀

I don't have a tumblr account, so I did the google search for "short hair tumblr" and clicked the link to the actual tumblr website results. TBH, didn't see all that much that was relevant to short hair styles. I saw quite a bit of scene hair and long hair, but not really a lot of short hair. I did see a lot of reference to things like, "if you have short hair, you must be a dyke." Really, the world would be a much better place without crap like that. For crying out loud. SMH.
I did try again, and I googled "short hair tumblr" but then viewed the image results on google itself (instead of going to tumblr). I found better relevant results that way. These gingers are adorable... and I love the colour of the purple. If I ever get the urge to grow my hair out again... I might be tempted to try the last one with the multi-coloured fringe. 😀

I love Anne Hathaways short hair styles! I just wish I had the balls and the styling know how to deal with my hair this short!

I'm going to try a new hairdresser on 8 July, so I'm hoping my fringe will have grown enough to allow for some different styling of my current cut. Here's a few more pixie's I found that I fancy the style of. 🙂

Love these. The green with bandanna is my fave - thinking of having my hair lopped right off and this is really making me take it more seriously. Been growing it (have made several attempts), but getting bored now and would like to look cute!

I grew mine out for over 18 months and got it to just about collarbone length in the front (shorter in the back) before I decided I wasn't fond of it and missed my cute short/sassy hair. I'm SO glad I went for the chop. I don't think I'll ever try to grow it again. 😉

Haha, i have said that so many times only to start growing it again but I am pretty committed to short hair again now after my last failed attempt at growing!! 🙂

You have no idea how pleased I am to hear that from you! I think you look amazing with short hair! You're like my mum who sparkles with short hair, but seems sort of (for want of a better word!) dull when its longer. I'm the same to be honest, except when I put a lot of weight on like now. I need to slim down a bit and then I want the chop again 😀 (not that its very long now, only just shoulder length at the front and its always pretty short in the back!)
