I'm also growing my hair out, people keep telling me my hair is long but I want it longer.

Some gorgeous pictures right there! The last one is truly to die for. God I really want longer hair, but at the same time I kinda want a small sidecut also! I can't decide 🙁

You can have it long and still have a side cut.
I have been growing mine for the past few years. It will be waist length is about 8 months, but it needs a trim so that will set me back a few months. Also being so processed, it may never quite get there, but time will tell. (My ends were dyed permanent black before going blonde)
Long hair is hard work, it takes forever to dye, and even diluted a fair bit I need 3 pots of Directions now. I would never choose to have it short though, too many forced haircuts as a child lol

Yeah I'm thinking about it.. But how accepted is it with a sidecut (you know just a small one in front of the ear) when applying for work? I'm currently unemployed :/

Too bad you have to cut it, but I understand at the mean time that you want it to be healthy 🙂 I like having long hair (it's only just past my shoulders though) but it's the longest it's ever been since I was around 6 years old 😀

you can always flip a section back over it and tie it in a low pony tail to completely hide it for work 🙂

im still growing my hair out from a horrible hair dresser who cut off way too much last year, i cant wait to get to waist im at boobs just barely now haha

Yeah you're right, and if it's not shaved, just really short it should blend in more naturally with the rest of the hair too 🙂

Such pretty pictures! I'm also growing out my hair, people keep telling me it's really long already ( mine is about err, armpit length ) but I'm like, No, I want it long enough to cover my breasts with it, like the girls do in the movies! 😀

And I agree that a sidecut is not necessarily incompatible with long hair or getting a job, so go for it Snuflan if that's what you really wanna do!

This thread is making me sad (and excited at the same time of course). I really do want my longish hair back, although I'd prefer it even longer this time! Hopefully I'll get there, I need around 8 inches to be happy.
