You should do it with Turq and a Dark Blue!

That's a rad idea! At least then I wouldn't have to deal with getting black out. I think I might get some darker blue next time I dye! πŸ˜€

A part of me wants a cruelly... But my eyes like symmetry, I get a sort of pain in my eyes when things are unbalanced, very hard to explain! So I'd have to have two colours really similar in tone and depth of colour.

I'm very tempted to do a cruella, but could anyone recommend me a good veggie black? I'm on an extreme budget due to being unemployed, but I do have my eye on either the CC black or an Adore black. Does anyone know how well these fade back out if the black doesn't suit me?

you could do a upside down one? so the top one colour & the underneath a different colour? that way your eyes should be happy & you still get ace 2tone hair =D

i've never used a black dye before, but i know the directions one is green based. i *think* nivix uses it. look on the BU website for reviews. i imagine the adore one would be good though. if you do go for adore post piccies please =) im excited to see some adore colour results!

Yeah, That's kinda what I went with this time πŸ˜€ Only it's not as drastic change as I was going for and as you can see from the photos, it won't show in photos lol. Going to bleach bath tomorrow probably, so I can hopefully get it brighter. We'll see.

I should see if I can get photos of my housemate. She used adore in a seriously bright red, over her lightened hair, she's Japanese, so it was only lifted to an orangey ginger. It's come out a really nice colour, bright, but normal enough for her. She's not a bright hair person really!

I used Clariol Jazzing Semi Perm Black once with some success.  It faded after time but you can't expect a semi to not fade.

Cjiadon - that sounds like something I'd be interested in. I want to test how good black would look (tried to photoshop it but didn't turn out very good) without the hassle of then trying to get it back out again if it looks pants! Will look into this!

If work would allow it, I'd totally do a halloween cruella with Napalm and Ebony.

*goes hunting for halloween cruella pictures*
