Root Re-Dye with Applicator Bottle

Attempted roots tonight, impulsively.  *devil* Was going to wait till the weekend, but really wanted to do them.  I did put in some time with coconut oil for an hour + prep time beforehand.

First time I have ever done roots to match a lighter length, and I admit, I don't think it is a bad job.  The colour seemed to lift quite successfully - after 12-minute application and about 20-minute additional developing - to match the lighter lengths pleasantly well.

I do see some spots I missed, which I may touch up this weekend, will be careful not to overlap, but all in all... I'm so relieved (especially that I still have hair, ha ha).  Now I can't wait to do my next process, probably a bleach bath, sometime in December.
