Ahhhhh I think I know the ones you mean, they have a bar over them to clip in place? Haha I know! And because theyve marketed them well I obviously want a set...I'm such a sucker.
Yeah, that's them! I've never been able to use them, don't know if I sleep too long without moving or if it's because my hair adheres too much to the shape it's put in, but I end up with zig zags rather than curls from where they've gone flat.
Yeah I know what you mean, like a line too across your hair
They sell the pink glitter ones in costco for like Β£15!
Yeah I know what you mean, like a line too across your hair
It's not even a line, it's like full on, zig zag hair. With bends and not curls! And normally more on one side than the other. I can only sleep in solid curlers... bloody hurts too lol
I love curly hair but mine is hopelessly straight. When I was younger I tried my mother's rollers and curling irons with awful results, but what really works for me are those soft foam, bendy rollers. That's the only way for me to get curls, and I've found pretty long and large ones too so I can wrap up my long hair better and I can get a more natural-looking result as well. I usually put them on damp hair and sleep in them, they are a little uncomfortable at the beginning but I got used to it.
I've seen many tutorials of people twisting hair on their fingers, making little buns of it and pin them at the head before sleeping. They get something between waves and curls but I guess it works only on mid-length hair...I can't even twist and make a decent bun out of mineXD
I really want to try the sleep in rollers that that daft woman from TOWIE brought out - they're squashy so you can sleep in them http://www.laurensway.com/hair/dream-rollers-pack-of-20-free-carry-case/
Sadly my hair doesn't hold curl either so I don't think they're worth forking out for π
they look interesting, but I guess I would have the same problem - I never managed to get curls with rollers. I'm afraid my hair is too long for them
I have those 'Magic Leverag' thingies from eBay, you just put your hair in it and it's very pretty
i have just invested in some curlformers off ebay Β£3.75 for a set of 20 which i don't think is that bad π just waiting for them to arrive
I've discovered quite by accident that if you sleep with a snood on freshly washed hair that you will end up with loose curls/waves, plus it also seems to be the only thing that can tame my frizz without the use of product.
*rofl*
zomg... I can't imagine having all those tampons in my hair, but I can see where it would work (and sure did for her!). I wonder if I could get my daughter to let me try it on her...
Yeah, I can see it working. The cotton would absorb damp for a start. Still, it's not really a cheap way. They wouldn't last more than a few times, if that. Cotton wool would be better!
Haha that video was cool.
So I tried the sock method last night, and it turned out pretty cute, but oh my god, they are hell to sleep on! I have trouble enough falling asleep as it is, not sure I wanna put myself through this again! π
I just may give the tampons method a go some time soon.
