Glue in extensions

Are glue ins ok if you take proper care of them? I've heard so many stories about baldness etc, is that only if you don't remove them properly or have them in too much?

I've had glue in extensions before a couple of times and didn't find that they caused any damage to my hair at all, I just struggled with how much they fell out, tried a different technician and then even more bonds fell out so I wouldn't do it again, but my hair looked lusciously long for almost 3 months each time 😀 I've had a weave sewn in once before but I kept this maintained for quite a while and although I had quite short hair when it was in they only needed tightening once every 3-4 weeks and I only found the initial tension lasted about 2 days (when you're allowed to wash it again) good excuse for a head massage though 😉 I use clip ins as well now and love them, I just get frustrated with them moving around during the day :

I so want to try this now! My hair needs to grow faster :/
