MP Enchanted Forest with Dir Alpine Green and CC Peacock Blue

I did a whole head bleach tonight to (a) try and get pale enough for Directions Lavender and (b) get rid of my old Virgn Rose. Well the VR faded out nicely but the Lavender...well yes, that wasn't going to happen. I don't know what went wrong (I think a combination of running out of peroxide liquid and the back of my head not being warm enough) but what I got was definitely NOT going to go Lavender, and probably not even my backup plan of Wild Flower.

πŸ™

SO...

I mixed Enchanted Forest and Alpine Green (the old version) in about equal amounts and diluted about 2:1 dye to conditioner. I also used Peacock Blue diluted about 1:1 to highlight some ends. This is a really, really hard colour to capture but bad seflie cam in yellow lighting has done the trick. I swear I am not that red faced in real life!

I love this colour. I have actually never been properly green before, except for a green streak I did at university 20 (!) years ago. Why haven't I done this before?!?

Oh wow, you suit this colour so much! I really really like green on you. Also your hair cut looks really nice on you at the moment. Like it's sitting really nicely πŸ™‚

I like that it's both "true" green and teal at once (how it looks on my screen anyway). Really nice πŸ™‚

I love this! I am contemplating whether I want to take my teal more to the green or blue side. This is definitely making me lean towards more green πŸ™‚

Thank you everyone πŸ™‚ I'm just about accepting of the short hair now, and on some days I actually even like it! It's definitely easier to cope with for washing and dyeing purposes, but I do think I suit longer hair more. But I don't completely hate it! It's been a bit awkward in the recent heat due to sweaty forehead issues, but I have a selection of cute clips to pin my fringe back now so it's not too bad. I much prefer the fringe now it's grown out a bit too. I might grow that longer still and keep the back short...

I wish I could get a proper picture in proper lighting but it just comes out turquoise, which it definitely isn't!

Personally I think you suit this just as much, if not more, than longer hair πŸ™‚

Hm, it's not lasting very well. Three conditioner washes and parts have gone yellowy already πŸ™
