Strand test. It's about all you can do. If it's not right, wait. It might turn out ok, sometimes unexpected things happen πŸ™‚

Here's the second strand test and I'm so happy! It looks amazing πŸ˜€ I was a little generous with the conditioner on the first one so it mostly came out blue-ish so I didn't take a picture of that one, but this one was like 50/50 blue and black and then just a tiny bit of conditioner πŸ™‚ I'll do a whole head of this as soon as I've finished dinner lol.

Should I wash my hair again? I used a bit of conditioner yesterday when we were done dyeing.

It is on my head right now! It looks pitch black so I'm kinda nervous but I'm thinking if it -does- turn out black, it probably takes just a few washes to make the green to come through πŸ™‚ Sorry about the double posting earlier also! I got a little too excited lol.

Edit: I got quite a bit of leftover dye so it's in a glass jar in the fridge right now. Is that the right way to store it? πŸ™‚

Edit again: I rinsed in luke warm/cool-ish water yesterday and the result were... black. With just the tiniest hint of green. I was gutted. Fastforward to today where I, first thing in the morning, schampooed my hair twice and used hot water. So the first picture shows before and after the schampooing in bathroom light, and then two pictures of what it looks like now in daylight πŸ™‚ I love it now!

Thank you Glitterpix and Wicked pixie! πŸ™‚ I'm so happy. I don't think it will last long on my roots but it will be interesting to see what it looks like after a few washes πŸ™‚

No need. As long as it's out of the sun and won't get hot, it'll be fine πŸ™‚

Love it! I've seen tons of blue-black and red-black but never green-black!
