Sometimes in life you have to make decisions.
Till this point there is no problem at all.
But sometimes you take the wrong decision.
*ott*
And then you have two options: you can say, ok, it's happend so i have to live with it.
Or you can say, no, that was wrong, I go back to the point before that decision (if that is possible).
At this point I am now.
One month ago I went purple if you remember. It was ok for me but not really my colour.
Then I had to dye my hair to a more normal, natural colour because I had some discussions with my lawyer due to some troubles with my employer (it's a long story and it's just secondary).
So I bought some blue black Box dye (stupid me *puzz*).
You can see it in the two pictures below, my roots and 1/3 of the lenghts are purple, the rest is black.
After one week with this haircolour I felt like: this is no more me. Do you know what I mean?
Black I had for years in the past and I'm so tired and bored of it.
Now I want my green hair back... I know It'll be not easy to get back to this from the black but I hope, Colour B4 will do much for me.
I've ordered some SFX Iguana Green Moderator edited post. Please do not advertise the competition, as BU funds this forum.
EDIT say: Sorry for doing that, I was not thinking about it. *gun*
I can't wait till it'll arrive and I get my green back.
I also bought some coconut oil (this time a native and non-refined one) and Joico K-Pak reconstructor to help my hair to get through this mission 8)
If it's done I'll post the pics.
Wish me luck π
Wishing you luck, can't wait to see the results as the green was truly lovely on you! π
Thank you for this compliment ^^
My mother-in-law (this word sounds funny for me as a german) also said this and was truly a bit disappointed to see me with black hair instead of the green.
Even my colleagues told me that they loved the green more on me. This was a thing I never thought of, that there are other people outside my familiy who could like my green hair.
The green looks lovely on you π
can i ask a random question. if your empolyer has issues with purple hair, surely they'll have issues with green?
it looks lovely though =)
By the way, the green is what I had before dyed the black.
This is what I want back for my hair, I hope I will manage to get this again.
@Pippa
They don't have issues with my haircolour. They wanted to fire me because I am disabled.
And my lawyer said to me that it would be better to have a normal haircolour, for having negotiation talks or if that failed and we have to sue them.
Thanks for the compliments about how it looks.
I can't wait to get my Iguana Green back^^
Best to invest in a wig just incase anything alike to this where you need natural hair comes into play xx
Zaralily this is a good idea, never thought of that before... *puzz* Thanks therefore π
Now I'm a bit sad because if I considered this option a bit sooner I didn't have the problem now with get rid of the black.
By the way...
Yesterday I found some time for doing Colour B4.
Results you can see below.
What do you guys think should I do next?
A second Colour B4?
Bleach bath or full bleach?
Remember: I want a green like shown in the picture above, some kind of a mixture from SFX Iguana Green and Directions Apple Green.
Any ideas about?
I think a bleach bath along the darker colours should lighten them enough to go a nice deep green over the top. You should leave it a week, though, with plenty of shampooing to make sure all of the residues of the colour remover are out.
Sorry to hear that your employer is being such a jerk and discriminating against you. π
Thanks for your words Intempestivity.
I think it's a social problem because I had a depression for a while (it was because of some bad happenings in my childhood - my mother had a problem with alcohol...).
People often don't know how to handle this or how to deal with someone who has a depression.
But it's ok, it's over now, I'm over it.
And got my work back, so everything's ok.
I'm not sure how bright I want my green hair back. My hair looks pastel atm in some areas and I find it looking a bit friendlier/softer to me.
So if I want it a bit near to a pastel one what's the way then?
(not a real pastel, just a bit in this way if this makes sense)
This weekend I decided to give a second Colour B4 a GO because at our local drugstore it was offered as a special offer for only just 4 Euros. It's better to waste this bit of money than the health of my hair π
And it worked better as I expected, it also removed some colour, so now I have a better base to start with the bleach bathing. I hope just one will be enough to go light enough for what I want to do with my hair *puzz*
Result you can see below, it's a bit lighter and more grey looking in real life
Moderator combined posts. Please add to your last post, rather than bumping & double posting.
Yesterday I did a full bleach after I soaked my hair in unrefined coconut oil for about three ours.
That's the result I got.
Today I will buy some Directions Spring and Apple Green and hope, I can handle what's in my imagination *puzz*
Today I found the time to dye my hair and, happy me, my ordered SFX Iguana Green arrived. ^^
I decided to create a "Triella".
I did it like a normal cruella but with a third little streak underneath at one side.
I did a mixture with the SFX Iguana and Spring Green from Directions, diluted it a bit with conditioner, for the first half.
Then I mixed some Apple Green with Alpine Green from Directions and diluted it also with conditioner.
But as I wasn't really satisfied with the result I put a bit from the first mixture into it and then started to apply.
It was not really easy to do that alone. But I had no choice.
I'm really really happy with the outcome.
It's exactly what I had in my imagination.
Btw, I never wear a middle parting, so I ever have a nice blending.
Pictures you can see below. π
looks beautiful
It's beautiful! Nicely done... enjoy it! π
