Which white is right?

Hi all, just hoping for some advice from maybe those with experience of the platinum/white styles.

I've gone from dark brown to incredibly pale blonde/white-ish over two and a few months and am hoping to do a bleach bath in a weeks time that will, am hoping, finally do the trick. I'm wondering though how to achieve the white that I am after.

I know there are different hues of whites depending on the undertone, like the purples/violets tend to be silvery and the ash whites can have a green tone? I'm hoping to get the really bright ice white shade (attached a picture below to help with what I'm after) so could any of you recommend a dye or toner to achieve this?

Also, just wanting to be sure before I do it - I did a full bleach and roots a week ago, hair is still very healthy, coconut oiling a lot and treatments and am wanting to check if it would be ok to do a bleach bath in a week just to lift the last little bit? Also, how often is safe to do roots? Thanks so much Xox

If your hair is pale blonde/white now, STOP bleaching. There's no need (unless it's more yellow than it sounds, could you post a photo?).

At this point you need to start toning. Use a purple shampoo or a purple dye diluted in conditioner for this. It neutralises the yellow and leaves it white/silver.

Ash blonde... it's not platinum or white, so I don't think it sounds what you want. It'll be darker. Maybe I'm wrong. But you use green toners to tone out reds and by the time you're to very pale blonde/white all of the red tones are gone leaving yellow at most.

Hi there and thanks so much for the reply πŸ™‚

I actually washed it this morning with silver shampoo and it's gone lighter still than when it was bleached earlier, which is great but still no where near where I want to get it. As you can see the colour is almost a pastel white shade whereas I'm trying to get that really bright ice-white hue. I won't lighten it anymore if you think that would be best, but just not sure now how to take it that last step? Thanks again for your help xox

You could try leaving the silver shampoo on for 5-30 mins. If it turns lilac, give it a good shampoo and it should wash out pretty quickly. But stick to the side of caution and build up the length of time you leave it.

If it still doesn't work then try a quick bleach bath.
