Where to buy hair dye in Florida?

Hi! I just joined to the forum, because im on an urge of knowing where to buy hair dye.
First, im not from the US, im from South America so sorry if my english sucks.

My best friend recently moved to Florida, and i asked her to buy me some hair dye because in my country is really hard to find, or really really expensive.
She doesnt know where to find it tho, and thats my question. Do you know any stores where she can buy hair dye?
Not any hair dye. Ive tried Manic Panic and Special Effects and they last nothing in my hair(Also, Manic Panic is the only one that you can buy here so im screwed). But Punky Color (Rose red) and Creative Image Adore (Aquamarine) have lasted a lot. I know i havent tried too many brands, i would like to but is because i have to buy all the dye in the US (Amazon) and here in Venezuela is really a problem to have dollars to buy things on internet (government stuff).

Ive seen other hair dyes i would like to try, like Ion Color, Artic Fox, Directions , Pravana.. but they dont sell them here πŸ™ and i dont know if they are expensive, or if they are going to last longer on my hair.

If any of you  can recommend me brands (price too) and also a store location, i would appreciate it so much.  *anyone*
Again, sorry if i made any grammar mistakes. Or if this isnt the place to post this D:
Thank you!  *1* *1*

Unfortunately most of us here are from the uk, so can't really advise on where to buy dye in store. Hopefully someone from the us will chime in.

I know it sounds like effort but could your friend order hair dye online for you and either put your address as the delivery address or get it and then post it to you?

Oh damn πŸ™

Yes, kind of, because she doesnt have a bank account. Its easier for her to buy it at a store and send it to me with her family when they come back.
Thanks anyway!

I am from the US and live in Ohio. I was born and raised in Fl and I think they have Sally's Beauty Supply there. Sally's does carry Ion Color Brilliance Brights. I believe they also carry N'rage. I have not personally tried them as I have had good luck with Manic Panic and am now trying Adore colors, which I think are carried in some chain stores and other beauty supply shops. I hope someone else here can be more help to you in your quest for more brands to try. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum πŸ™‚

Hi! Florida person here!  *waves* I wish I knew of one place with everything but around here (St. Petersburg/ Tampa area) it seems like the brands are scattered. If you are looking for Punky Colour, you can find the most popular colors at Ulta. Manic Panic Amplified, Raw, and Sparks are at Hot Topic, but again the colors are limited. Sally Beauty Supply has Manic Panic, Beyond the Zone, N Rage, and Ion. Your friend might be able to find Adore if she looks for beauty supply stores that cater to the African-American market. Pravana is only sold to professionals so unless your friend knows someone she won't be able to get it. Directions is not readily available in the US. I am not familiar with Arctic Fox. Punky Colours is highly recommended by most people; it is a good price (from $6 to $9 US) and lasts well. I wouldn't recommend Ion; the colors are usually not highly pigmented and don't last (the pastels) or they are impossible to remove (the blues). Hope your friend is able to get you what you want!
