Where do people get their wigs from?

I am thinking of getting a wig, I don't want to spend too much on it, so really don't care about synthetic hairs.. but want something a bit better than the primark pink wigs atm πŸ™‚

I've noticed a couple of people on here get wigs to give them a natural option, so was wondering where was best? πŸ™‚

Don't want to start another wig topic, so I hope you don't mind me asking in here! Do people with synthetic wigs from eBay wear them outside? Do they look quite realistic? πŸ™‚

I can't quite recall what mine are, i think they are a mix of synthetic and real. I wear them all the time and get compliments. 99% of people can't tell, i just gotta watch and make sure my fringe doesn't wiggle about :p it has a habit of sliding up my forehead the longer i'm wearing the wig.

My favourite I have is a dark brown blunt bob with full fringe, I wear a headband with it to hide the parting at the top. I always get told I look like Snow White whilst wearing it.

I get wigs from eBay and Taobao (a Chinese ebay). Depending on the wig you get, it can look very realistic. Some look shiny in natural sunlight, so you just have to be careful. Look at reviews and ratings.

What are you specifically looking for? I can help you find good stores.

I wanted something fairly short, with a fringe.. but to be honest I don't even know what sort of price range you pay to ensure it's a good quality (I don't need something incredible, just passable)

And do you guys wear wig caps underneath too? πŸ™‚

Why did you guys start talking about wigs?! I have just spent atleast an hour on ebay "browsing" :/ Oh my gosh though, it may save me regularly changing my hair colour πŸ˜€ there are some b-e-a-uuutiful ones out there! πŸ˜€
And I may have ordered myself a long brown one with a fringe, for days when I want to look more "natural" πŸ˜›

I wear a wig cap underneath, when I had shorter hair I didn't bother but now it's longer I do.

I wear a wig cap, I have to. With the seller I use they send one free for every wig. I paid from $19.99-$25.00 for my wigs and they're excellent <3. If they are a bit shiny you can just use some talc or just baby powder, just be sure to brush them out really well so it blends in.

I've bought three so far and plan to buy the black long layered one for Gwen Cooper cosplay xD.
