Do I just keep my hair loose under there, or tie it up? does it really keep the hair smoother/eliminate frizz?

I've been wearing a silk dread bonnet for a few weeks now and I love it! I have thick, curly hair which always tended to frizz. I chose a dread one because it's longer and can easily fit all my hair in, I'm not sure a normal sleep bonnet would have held it.
I have found a definite improvement in the amount of frizz I get and wouldn't be without them now 🙂
