What KK to use?!

I'm looking to make some dreads which I've not done in several years. Making some transitional ones so I have purchased LA Trend and Classic Cyberlox KK in white, blue and purple.

They both say they can be sealed with steam and water but i'm since being told people have had difficulties?!

Has anyone worked with them? If so are they easy to seal? I have a steamer, straighteners and boiling water methods to seal. The steamer is 900watt. Straighteners are around 200c.

Anyone have any tips?

I'm using a blended method to do the transitional and was intending to do a simple back comb twist and seal...

Please help before I cancel my order/cry!!!
