What are the easiest ways to conserve hair dye?

So as I've gotten older, more gray hair has started to creep in. I've dyed it a few times which is helpful but since hair grows fast it doesn't exactly last that long. One of the things I've been noticing is that I don't need nearly as much hair dye as they provide. It would be nice to save some but once you mix the solutions together, there's basically no saving it so I end up wasting most of it. Obviously they make hair dye with girls in mind and being a guy without much hair, it just seems excessive to need so much.

Anyway, I was just wondering if there was an easy to conserve the hair dye that I get so I have extra. Thanks in advance!

The best way would be to buy a tube of professional tint, you can get them at Sally’s, and a bottle of peroxide. That way you just use as much as you need each time. You’ll just need a tint bowl and tint brush to mix it in.
