Hi All,
I have been dying my hair a light brown for over a year now. I have used semi's and permenants now but everytime, I dye it, the warm comes back in and it looks orange in some light. I hate being gingery.
What would you suggest to rid my hair of these warm tones?
I have tried Joico Colour Blanance Shampoo (blue one) but it did nothing. Any other ideas?
Would an ash dye work? An ash blonde or ash brown?

Use a blue or green dye in some conditioner. Try blue first. You don't want it really dark, most blue dyes will need a little bit on the end of a teaspoon mixed into say half a cup of conditioner. Leave it for 30 mins or so. If that doesn't work try green.

Yes totally agreed with Janineb, you can use a blue or green dye in some conditioner.
