Please excuse me if this makes me sound useless, but I'm clueless!  ???

What vinegar do I use?
How many times a week can I use it?
How do I make it up & use it?

Use clear/white vinegar - it's about 50p for a bottle in Tesco but it'll be available all over the place.

I use it every time I wash my hair when my colour is fresh and stop as soon as it stops staining my skin, but you can use it as often as you want.

All you do is mix vinegar to water in a ratio of about 1 part vinegar to 5 parts water. I use a big measuring jug. (It's a bit hit and miss at first to find out the proportions that are right for your hair - I make mine about 1:4 or 1:3 but some people like a weaker solution.) Wash your hair as normal and then the very last thing you do is tip the vinegar mix over your head: don't rinse, don't do nuthin' πŸ˜‰ Just get out of the shower and dry as normal. You will smell like a chip shop while your hair is wet but the smell vanishes as soon as it's dry - promise.

Am I right in saying some people use apple cider vinegar for this?

Hey if a cheap product will do the same job as an expensive one ....

I'm sure I'd heard before it was just ordinary white vinegar, but I googled earlier and it was all about the apple cider vinegar.  I suppose it's just the in thing at the moment.

I just flip my head over and turn the shower to cold for rinsing.  Yep I'm lazy.

Thank you @Tabitha, I'll pick some up when I go shopping.

@KiteBunny, I done a quick Google after reading your comment & yes you can use Apple Cider Vinegar also, but I read somewhere that some people favour the White Vinegar some have seen better results with shine & softness.. I'm also cheap so shall be going for the White Vinegar  πŸ˜€
