It will neutralize the orange a lot and really tone it down so it's not so bright. Keep it off the ends though because they will go green, you'll want to use violet for those. Towards the top it looks like you need to add a little green too to make a blueish teal also.
Just take your photo and put it in Paint or some image editing software/site and invert the colors. It will show you the exact colors you need to make to tone each area
Thank you, but i wanna go to blond and later go to pastel pink or purple, so what should i do? Bleach isnt help π

You would get a lot more help starting your own new thread in the bleaching/lightening section, because there's different possibilities based on your hair history and whatnot. Plus I think that's what the mods would prefer too, I think? I would make a thread and give some background info like if your hair was dyed before trying to bleach it, what you bleached it with, the time frame, etc
I would tone it like Katie suggested ... it won't turn your hair blue; it will just neutralise the brassy tones so it looks more natural.
I was redhead for 3 years, later i had red ombre, now i wanna go to blond. I used ligtener Live color xxl and loreal feria(bleach bath), i used Dye - garnier vanilla blond and dye from poundland( blond) and simply bright silver
Can i use toner like directions ?
Moderator combined posts.
Directions toner won't work on anything other than the very palest of yellows, which is why you'd be much better off making your own toner. All toners are just very diluted dyes, so if you got a blue/purple dye and diluted it down with conditioner, you would have your own toner that you can adjust as necessary for a lot cheaper.
The premade semi toners and things like the wella toners won't really do much for your hair right now, it needs to be lighter like your ends are.
So it was dyed red for 3 years the you had an ombre. Did you use a color remover at all before bleaching? They aren't damaging at all, though they are drying. How far apart were these 4-5 lightening processes done (not sure if the silver used developer or not, if it did then that's another process)?
I didn't use remover and silver used developer. 1-2 days or the same day
Can i use live color xxl blue for example? Should i use dye with developer?
Eeek. Your hair is probably really damaged, don't use any developer!
I wouldn't use live xxl blue, I'd use something like Directions Lagoon Blue diluted in conditioner.
Oh gosh, that is a ton of processing to do in just a couple of days. All I would do right now is get a green semi, a blue semi, and a violet semi to tone it. You'll need to mix the green and blue for the top/root-ish area, blue for the orange, and violet for the gold and yellow. I really would not get the XXL dyes, they're pretty much rubbish. I would get Manic Panic Enchanted Forest which you could probably use in it's own on the root area because it's really blue toned, use Rockabilly Blue for the orange, and Ultraviolet for the rest. Or if Directions is easier to get, I would get Alpine Green, Neon Blue, and Violet.
What you'll need to do is get 3 bowls and fill them with conditioner, add one color to each, just a speck at a time. I'd start with your root areas first, just test strand it to see if it's toning enough, if it's not, just add another speck of dye to the mix until it tones. Do this with each of the areas, and you can always touch up anything you missed since these dyes aren't damaging at all, whatsoever. You could use these literally every single day if you wanted and the worst that would happen is your hair would be overconditioned. There's natural colored semis made by Adore which are sold here too to use, and a ton of unnatural colors too.
Your hair could get a forest green over the bulk of it, maybe a dark warm plum like Punky Color Plum, reds definitely though I'm sure you're sick of red by now. Over the mid part you could get a nice pink like Atomic Pink, Hot Hot Pink, Cerise, you could get a nice darker turquoise with Punky Color Turquoise maybe with a little Atlantic Blue in it, warm darker purples, etc. Over the ends you could have anything really.
I think a red>pink>pastel pink would look cool! Or a warm dark plum>darker pinky purple>pink>pastel pink/purple. You can still get some of your pastels that you want I just really don't think your hair will be able to get to an allover pale yellow like your ends without frying.
I definitely would avoid anything and everything with peroxide for quite a while. I would get a good reconstructor like Joico Kpak DPR, your hair needs it right now. I would avoid any heat styling, I would not use any conditioners or products with silicones, I wouldn't a sulfate free shampoo or have a search on here or google for CO washing, do moisturizing treatments, get a good cut and remove any damage you have, and really baby the heck out of your hair for the next couple months at least. Expect to see more damage revealed over the next month or so.
Honestly, I don't think your hair will be able to handle any more bleaching, and I wouldn't even use a color remover on it after 5 processes in a couple days. Getting to a pale yellow allover to achieve a pastel pink or purple I don't think is going to be possible at this point unless you're willing to lose a lot of your length. Even then, if you were to use a color remover and bleach it, your hair may be permanently stained from using permanent reds for so long. I just do not think it is wise at all to try and remove color or bleach your hair any further after what it's been through in such a short amount of time.
In a month or two, you can check your hair's true condition by clarifying it, don't condition or add any product or oils, and let it air dry. If it feels ok, I would test strand a color remover on it to make sure your hair can even handle the dryness that they cause. If it can't handle a color remover it definitely won't be able to handle bleach.
In the future when you want to remove dye and go lighter, use a non damaging color remover first like Colour B4, Decolour Remover, etc. After removing the dye, the bleach can work on simply lightening your hair, not having to work through all those color molecules built up in your hair. It's like starting a race at the halfway mark. And before bleaching, it helps minimize the damage a lot if you coat the hair in coconut oil at least a couple hours beforehand.
What hhappens if i use dark purple with developer?
I would avoid any more dyes with developer, you are likely to see a lot of damage and possibly breakage from over-processing.
If you mean can you use a permanent purple dye (a dye that needs developer) as a toner, no, it will dye your hair purple. If you want purple hair, use a semi, it will give better results and won't damage your hair.
Yeah I'd stay away from any permanent dyes or dyes that need developer. I agree with the ladies and Katie's advice is spot on. Good luck with the toning!
Thank you so much :-*
