Styling head/ practice hair

Hey guys, sorry if i've posted this in the wrong section, i'm not really sure as to where this query belongs

I was wondering if anybody knew where I could find a reasonably priced styling head or even just some cheaper hair extensions that were still good enough quality to dye.

I love dying hair and trying new techniques and colour combinations and would like some hair to play around with while waiting for my own hair to fade (plus a bit of practice won't hurt) however funds are limited and i'm not really sure what kind of hair would be best or even where to start looking

Preferably very light blonde hair or hair that would be suitable for bleaching.

Thank you in advance πŸ™‚

Where are you based? (Just so that you can get advice from people who live in the same country as you).

I don't know about extensions, but I do know that styling heads are never cheap I'm afraid.

I used to get extensions from Paul's Hair world in Manchester because they'll sell them by 1/4 of a pack at a time so they don't work out too expensive

How about making your own out of  polystyrene head-shaped hat stand (cheap on eBay!) and a cheap wig. You can pin the wig straight into the polystyrene with regular dressmakers' pins to make it stay in place, and you can swap it out with other wigs if you want to chop and change.

It's not the best quality head in the world, but it works and it's cheap!

Um. cheap wigs aren't normally human hair though. It won't dye if it's not human hair.
