splat condition in color

Hi, has anybody used SPLAT condition in color. I saw a youtube tutorial about it and I was just wondering if anybody on here had tried it. I was looking to do a fun color while I'm on vacation as I cant keep a crazy color because of my job, but I've always wanted bubblegum pink hair. The tutorial made it look good, but I never truly trust youtube, it can always be doctored to come out a certain way. I'm looking for it to only last a week.

Its like a goldenish blonde with some pieces that are bleached almost white

It'll likely only show on the white bits anyway. Golden blonde is almost certainly too dark. If it's dark enough to show on golden blonde hair then it's probably going to last longer than a week.

Have you thought about hair chalks? It's one way of temporarily having colour that will normally wash out straight away. Just don't use it on wet hair as it's likely to stain!

Edited to add. Just looked them up. The pink is quite dark, if the photos are true (though most are obviously photoshopped when it comes to the official ones). It's going to last more than 5 washes, I'm pretty sure of that. Also, pastel colours are cheaper to make yourself by mixing direct dyes with conditioner. You get the colour results you want and it's much, much cheaper.

I will have to look into hair chalks, I did try them once before but I think I was just trying too light a color and I had dark brown hair at the time so it was an epic fail. I've also seen some colored hairsprays but I can't remember the name of the company that makes them, that may be worth a shot too. I wish my job would just loosen up about the hair color situation 🙁

Could you not do it on an underneath section so it only shows when your hair is up then hide it til it washes out? Pink is a toughey though as it's usually pretty stainy

I guess I could try doing just the underneath, but I have a pixie cut so my one side is only about an inch long, the back is shaved and I have a little length on the other side because I keep my front long, i'll have to do a little experimenting and see what works best. thanks!!!

Oooh what about under your fringe so you can have a pink quiff? I bet you'll be able to find something cool to do!
