Silver hair journey. (Finally DONE!)

I really want silver/grey hair... I'm getting too impatient I think.... I have a very scary urge to buy a bleach tomorrow and screw up my hair 😂😂😂  *stars* I don't need any patience spell, I need chains to bind me down 😂😂😂

Ok so this is the final result at the moment. I got impatient and only did a spot bleaching at some parts neqr the natural hair. I was doing the purple conditioner washes before, so my hair on the length towards theends has already been free of brass and major yellow tones. The left side is a picture of wet hair on a daylight (on the side of the house where sun is shining brightly 😂) and the right side is a picture taken after drying my hair (also in a daylight, but in the other side of the house where it's cloudy and sun is nowhere to be seen).
I'm planning to do some oil treatments and conditioning of the blonde part. Only after that I'll think about what to do about dying my hair. I'm still unsure about using pravana directly. what if it won't dye my hair and I end up with another disaster of silver-blonde stripes? Excuse me, I'm just deeply traumatized 😂😂

So I've reached my destination. Of cource there are some light brown parts close to my natural hair at some areas, but they are tolerable and don't look terrible. I think I might tone those light brown parts down by applying more pravana later. I was surprised people say pravana is dark if not diluted, because as you can see I left it undiluted on for almost 40 minutes and it's light silver (only dark on the inner layers where my hair was more yellow). I thought 'no more bleach' and just went with it. I absolutely love the results and my hair got a lot of compliments today when I was walking the dog. Usually my chihuahua gets more attention, but now it was me and a bunch of women/girls asking me which salon did I visit for these results 😂😂😂 Well, the reaction is too extreme, but my town is pretty small and colourful or silver hair is rare too 😂
I think I'm close to what I had planned since the start. I think I can handle some minor light brown parts as the time passes (until summer) 😂

I wonder if Pravana silver varies from batch to batch, because I have always found it quite light, no idea how people achieve deep charcoal grey from it as many claim.
I would definitely leave it on for longer though, 40 mins is not long for a direct dye, 4 hours is the minimum I aim for if I want a colour to last.
I also love Chihuahuas! We have five Smooth Coats: Harley, Delilah, Mouse, Bibi and Jasper. I get a lot of attention with coloured hair and tiny dogs lol

next time I'll leave it for several hours. I'm planning to do another application in a week.
Actually pravana does become dark grey, if you apply it on yellow hair, but dry (not towel dried as box suggests). I tried a strand test yesterday. I do have a strand that's dark grey sner my natural hair that was very light brown/orange. 😂
my chihuahua is a short haired type and applehead. I have the most beautiful puppy around the area I live in, so we get a lot of attention. 😂😂😂😂

I meant on a fully bleached base. I have had people argue that Pranana silver is almost black when applied straight from the tube, none of the tubes i have had have ever been that dark, or anywhere close. So either the batches vary, or it is possible to get very different results on different hair.

Probably that's the case... So if batches truly vary, than I think I'll have to do strand tests every time I order a tube 😂 Well, I think this is a safest way to avoid surprises 😂

So finally I'm satisfied with the outcome. This is the final result of my hair. I love the coulour, so I plan to take a rest from vibrant colours and focus on maintaining silver hair 😂😂
