Silver hair journey. (Finally DONE!)

Hi guys. I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I couldn't find a post similar to my problem, so I decided to make a new topic. Please forgive me if I made any mistakes, I'm still new to this.
Now let me introduce you to my ultimate problem.. I had a brassy blonde hair. I stripped my hair form green colour using Color Zap, so after that some strands were darker than others. Instead of bleaching the hair again, I just used Wella T18 toner, to remove brassy tones. The parts that were dark yellow, turned lighter, but still apparently not enough to be covered by silver hair dye. I used Pravana Silver to dye my hair and now the lighter parts turned silver, the yellow parts are light blonde. What can I do to fix those blonde parts? Do I have to use wella toner again? Or apply more Silver dye? I really don't want to bleach my hair again.
I'll be super thankful for any advice. I hope the attached picture will help. :/
Edit: If this will be in any way helpful for advice, I left Pravana Silver for 20 minutes only (as the box suggested). Should I have left it longer?

So I did a good conditioning and decided nothing would fix that hair except bleaching. Last time I bleached my hair was a year ago, so I decided to give it a shot. Now this is what my hair looks like. I still want to go silver. Do you think Wella T18 will work? Then I have Pravana Silver to apply on top. Of cource I am planning to wait a week or two to give my hair a rest.

Those wella toners are not for lifting, you need to lift to the required level first.
I would skip it entirely, it is just unnecessary damage, the Pravana silver will tone your hair.
The orangey areas where the bleached part meets the regrowth are still too dark though
Pravana silver is not damaging at all, so no need to wait.

Oh ok, thanks. But do you think it would be better if I give my hair a rest for at least 2 weeks and just spot bleach it? I mean only the dark parts. I doubt pravana silver will color those dark parts. And I've already had to suffer from gold-silver issue 😂😂😂

I would wait at least a month before bleaching again ideally. For a true pale silver you need an even light blonde base.

Ok thank you really. Since it's April anyway, I'll dedicate this month to university and bleach my hair again at the end of May. I'll dye my hair for Summer I guess. My hair haven't rested from dyes since June 2015, this is a good opportunity 😂
Thanks again. I'll hold onto that advice.  *1* *cheers*

Hm, so I thought no need to post about it again, since it's the continuation of my silver hair journey. Today I decided to do a trand test with pravana silver. I mean why not? I'm planning to use it undiluted anyway, so what if I don't need any more bleaching? Previously I've already used diy purple conditioner 3-4 times, so my hair is not as yellow as it once was on some parts.

So I just took the darkest strand from inner layers of hair (right behind the ear) and applied pravana. I'll let it sit for about an hour until I watch some youtube videos and then I'll just tell you my results... Or in case my hair is dark and it doesn't turn out well, I'll just wait till the end of May to do some partial bleaching, only on dark areas and spots 😃

Fingers crossed  *1*

Ok so this is what a strand test showed... You can see the comparison pictures to my blonde hair. I think there's not any weird yellow blonde between my natural hair and silver. pravana did cover yellowish tones. Do you think I should wait and bleach again the parts where bleached hair meets natural? Or can I just colour the whole hair now? I'm still nervous 😂😂 I do have a wella t18 toner too.. Just in case...
BTW this is not a diluted colour and I love it 😂😂 *loveeyes*

If you are happy with the warmer grey, then go ahead. Be aware that it will fade to an ash blonde on the darker areas though. If you want an even fade, you need an even base.

I guess I'll just even out the base first. I'm not worried about fade and the colour after the fade... I'm just worried about what kind of grey it will become if I dye the whole hair 😃😃😂 Patience... Patience... Patience... I need a patience spell 😂😂😂 ;D

All direct dyes fade with every wash.
With light and difficult colours like silver or pastels, it is possible to get the colour on a darker base, but as soon as it is washed the base starts to show through. So that is why i advise a level 10 base for light colours, it will stay silver longer.

My manic panic hot hot pink and enchanted forest lasted over 2 weeks the same colour they were when I feshly dyed my hair. I don't use shampoo, so the dye doesn't wash out with only water (well yes, I wash my hair with 'no poo' method, only water and a baking soda once a week or 2 weeks). Well, if silver washes out so quickly even in just a water without shampoo or soap, I guess I need lighter base :/  *stars* *stars* *gun*

I wasn't implying that pravana silver doesn't last long, it is pretty good as far as silver dyes go. The colours you had before were darker and would cover a less than perfect base, but this is not that case with silver. Any warmth in your base will show through, that is the nature of silver, it is pretty difficult for this reason. Even the most long lasting silvers require a fully bleached base to look good after a few washes.
