Removing green blue dye without bleach?

Heya. πŸ™‚

So i dyed my hair green/blue after bleaching my hair to near white, after that faded i tried to bleach again to dye my hair pastel blue and purple, now my hair has faded back to a mint green with blue streaks, which i cannot get any lighter.

I tried washing it  wash washing up liquid, (but i didn't have a lot left in the bottle, so I don't think it worked well).
I'm really inpatient when it comes to dying my hair, esp when i have the hair dye sitting here πŸ™

is there anything that can get my hair lighter?

(bearing in mind i cannot get hold of any vitamin c tablets or anything like that atm πŸ™ )

If the blue and mint are fairly light you can just dye over it, use a slightly pinker purple as the blue/green will pull it toward blue.

as i want a pink/purple ombre i don't want any blue in my hair then? not sure how the purple will turn out if i dye straight on top of this this?

I was left with the green menace after turquoise and blue, it was the green left from the turquoise that just would not budge, I wanted to go back to pinks and reds again,  the only colour that covered the greeny ends I was left with was Directions Rose Red.

I have great fading results using a mix of clarifying shampoo, shower gel, a spoonful of bicarb and half a lime. I mix the shampoo and shower gel, add a tiny bit of water then the bicarb and lime at the end. i mix it up to help it  expand then i put it on to wet/damp hair and lather it. I leave it on between 30-60 minutes under a shower cap and then rinse a lot and deep condition after as it can dry out the hair. it is a cheap mixture and you can get everything in the supermarket, if you don't have it already.

Sorry, I thought you wanted pastel blue and purple.
The bleach powder/shampoo/oils method should get the last of the blue out.
Start by soaking your hair in coconut oil (min 2 hours) then mix the following; 1oz bleach powder, 4oz shampoo, 1 teaspoon each of coconut and olive oil. Really work this into the oiled hair, cover and heat with a hairdryer. Rinse after 10 minutes with hot water, finish with a vinegar rinse to help seal the cuticle.

I tryed a mix of hairspray(?), shave gel(?), washing up liquid, left it in for about an hour under a plastic bag. Then washed it out, then rinsed with clarifying shampoo.

Its a lot paler, but still green πŸ™

I don't have any of those products πŸ™

Well if you are not prepared to buy anything you will just have to be patient and let it fade over time
