I'm a newbie on this board so if I posted this in the wrong category please tell me and I'll go there.
I basically just don't which dye to buy. If you have any recs, I'm all ears. ;D
I have been dying my hair for 13 years now. I know all about protein fillers, protein treatments, how to get brass out, developers, bleach vs high lift, ect. So I do *not* want to go to a salon. However..............there is always more information to learn.
I'm naturally dark ash blonde. I bleach it to a pale yellow. I was platinum for a long time but I recently stripped the ash out so I could have a solid base to begin with on the path to red. My hair is pretty healthy, believe it or not! I've taken great care of it.
-I can not pull off brown or purple tones.
-I do not want neon hair. Vibrant? Yes. But not manic panic neon range.
-I can pull off pink undertones and warm undertones. (I am neutral leaning yellow skinned, green eyed, ash blonde brows...might have to change my brows lol)
I'll probably log on with more red hair pic ideas tomorrow............Im pretty obnoxious so if I get annoying quickly just give me a slap on the wrist. Please dont ban me.

Adore have some great reds that walk the line between natural and unnatural. They also have some very unnatural reds that you can mix to get your perfect shade.
If you don't want it too bright I wouldn't bleach to a pale yellow, leaving some of the natural pigment will avoid the super neon look.
