I am starting to notice that a lot pictures online which are used as hair inspo could be 'shopped and i thought it could be helpful to keep expectations realistic by highlighting which images have been 'shopped and identifying duplicate images in different colours, like the photo of that raspberry red colour that was found in red as well...
I've found so many pictures of coloured hair that I originally thought were so pretty-then later found the same one in a different colour. It's so annoying :'(
I've found that on almost every one, upon closer inspection, the photoshop is usually really sloppy. If you follow hairs that stick out, flyaways or hair on skin/light coloured clothes, you can usually either see the original hair colour or stains of the photoshopped colour on them where the person has gone to far outside the hair or hasn't coloured enough. Also, the background colours/other colours in clothes tend to change too, so if something looks a bit too odd it's usually photoshopped ⌒.⌒
Here's a few from when I was looking for some inspo for my friend because she was dying her hair π I found it almost impossible to find real photos of pastel hair colours ::)
The majority of them are of Nastya Kusakina, a model with gorgeous blonde hair-it's almost hilarious how many fakes you can find of her hair, probably because it's so pretty!

Just trawled through my Pinterest photos to find these - I knew I had 'em!
Its so disappointing when you realise its not real/achievable!
And also, I know this isn't hair, but it always bugs me when it pops up on Pinterest!
I never realised this pic was shopped!!
I know, had me at first aswell.
I'd love to see the original of the first photo you posted, I've seen so many variations of it.
Her hair is a natural blonde with multi-tonal highlights IRL.
I was searching for pics of canary yellow and this came up.
What do you reckon? Photoshop or real? :p
It's from an online store as well, would not fill me with confidence if I was buying from there.
Photoshop. Not unusual. Bad or not? Depends how well it's done!
