Random hair comments thread

I've only had my green hair for a short while but I already have an idea for my next hair colours! I may start fading soon...

I get like this.. I've only had blue hair a short while & am already itching to change it.  ::)

I'm usually ready to change colour approximately one nanosecond after rinsing the new colour out...

I have no idea what colour to dye my hair next.......

True to form I am trying to fade the Siren's Song out already. It's quite the hanger-on, for a pastel. Directions Lavender was gone in two washes but this has survived bicarb, H&S and a scrub with minty shower gel!

Go swimming... it only lasted one session for me!

That's sealed the deal for me I think, unless I have a sudden change of mind at the shop I'm going orange and pink 🙂

I gave myself a little side shave last night and saved the hair to experiment on.  I have been trying to fade out this purple like crazy with little success, so I applied a color remover to the strands to see what would happen.  OMG, I can't wait to put it on my head! The purple turned baby blue and the blue turned silver. I hope all my hair comes out this pretty!  I might not even dye over it.

finally directions became avaliable in my country! i dont have to use mp anymore yay!
i think i will buy turquoise and do a purple/ turquoise ombre, but my hair is short now(shoulder length) so i am not sure if ombre would look good.

This purple in my hair is boring me now.. It's started to do its own ombre too, so now it's going a pinky purple on the ends, I thought by mixing a pink based purple & blue based purple it would indeed fade... Purple! I guess I was wrong, or maybe I didn't use enough blue based purple.  *puzz*

I am so impressed with crazy colour orange! It has come out amazingly bright on my hair, not too far off from the colour of sfx napalm orange (obviously less intense though).

I haven't washed it yet so I don't know about how long it will last but so far I'm impressed.

I really want my hair cut into something vaguely mullety... but a)Where the hell do I go? b) I have to be able to put it up for work (My job involves food) c)I know what I like but not sure what - if anything! - would work on me

Talking to a hairdresser would be a good start  😉

Sorry for double posting but how long should I keep trying to fade using shampoo before resorting to harsher methods?

I'm now deliberately lathering up my SLS-heavy shampoo directly on the dip-dye and the foam goes blue but I'm not seeing a difference to my hair yet.  It's kind of teal at the moment, faded out from darkish blue and presumably on its way to greeny-blonde-yuck base colour  :p
