thank you all!!!

So just an update, tried another ash brown semi nice and easy ones - still ginger! lol. I saw guy tang on youtube saying to cover mid-dark asian brass use the Dialight/ richesse collection and he used a 6.01 so went out and bought that, and it's way darker just with red undertones.

I generally now feel like just dyeing the roots black (that should kill the warmth!!!) or going silvery platinum as the t18+14 made the rest of my hair and the ends that colours! Just stuck with yellow orange roots hahaha it's quite funny actually.

I've seen some lovely ombres with black roots - am i right in saying black won't show warmth??! :/

xxxxxx

depends on the dye you use. If you go for a direct dye, they all tend to be either red or green based. A green based black may neutralize the brassyness you have.
Permanent dyes are mosty brown based which tend to be red based.

Thanks Puerkz!

I don't suppose you know have any recommendations? I would die if i dyed them black and the red and orange undertones were still there!!!

Because I know black will be super hard to remove, and bleaching them would mean I would have to go through the whole life cycle of red, orange than yellow again right!!!
